"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

OK, Hell has finally frozen over! New icons!! The first few are now up with lots more to follow, including new versions of the old icons, and also some new ones!
To avoid confusion (hopefully) I have re-named all old style icons to have their version number in the title (either 1.0 or 1.1)
